Time Limits for Reviewing Lawyer Accounts

It is important to note that there may be a very short limitation period of up to three months to file an Appointment to review a lawyer's account if the account has been paid. If the account remains unpaid, the Appointment must be filed no earlier than one month after the final account and no later than 12 months, unless special circumstances can be demonstrated and the court grants an extension of time.
